With the fairly new faction transfer, I moved my old 60 druid over to level that beast (now) to the Big Eight Oh. It’s been a short road so far, but since the partner in crime I had with the latest escapade into Azeroth (and Outlands) has called it quits, I realized that I really just, really preferred the druid playstyle. Not far to go, and being in a non-hardcore guild is a great plan. As much as I’d like to be dropping into Icecrown Citadel when it hits, I’d rather just have fun. Not having fun is what drove me from the game. The relaxed atmosphere is still a bit of an adjustment for me, but hey, whatever.
However, there’s a poopload of new games coming down the pipeline for consoles that I just won’t be passing up. Nothing can stop me from that. Seriously, now.
Amazon just emailed me to tell me my copy of Dragon Age: Origins shipped, so I’m looking forward to that hitting my 360 a few times over the next couple of weeks.
After that, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is on pre-order from Amazon as well, as I’m far, far too lazy to even care about picking it up at the store on release day. I’d rather way a few days for it to come direct to my mailbox after the servers get slammed. I’ve got other things on my mind anyway.
Plus, even before that, and I think I’m anticipating it far more, is Left4Dead 2. I need some mayhem zombie-shooting and for some reason I skipped out on the first release, despite having a solid feeling about it, especially after the reviews. Going to pick up a used copy for $10 in any case.
Also, looking forward to Assassin’s Creed II. I’m a fan of the 3d puzzle action thing that it’s got going on, and it will be a good break from anything else, perhaps.
Ah, the holiday season is insane. Too many game releases. And all sequels. What’s up with that?
