I’m not sure, but I think Ikaruga may be the hardest SHMUP I’ve ever encountered. It pwned me on Easy mode. This video is of someone playing on Hard. But, like anything well practiced, the player makes it look like nothing. It reminds me of watching my sensei demonstrating a technique.
